Will vitamin C lose strength over time?
No. The 10% vitamin C in the serum is liposomal — encapsulated so it doesn’t oxidize on exposure to air — and ferulic acid in the same formula stabilises it further. It works at full strength from the first use to the last.
What does tranexamic acid do that vitamin C doesn’t?
Vitamin C brightens overall tone. Tranexamic acid works on the pigmentation that doesn’t respond to brightening alone — the stubborn patches and hormonal discolouration. Using both is why this routine works on marks that others leave behind.
Do I really need sunscreen in winter?
Yes. UVA passes through cloud and glass year-round, and it is the main driver of pigmentation. This sunscreen is PA++++, the highest UVA rating. Skipping it is the most common reason dark spots don’t fade.
Can I use vitamin C and niacinamide together?
Yes. The old advice against it came from unstable lab conditions, not real formulas. Apply the vitamin C first in the morning, then the niacinamide.
How long before dark spots fade?
Six to twelve weeks, depending on how deep the pigmentation sits. Surface marks respond faster than older, deeper ones.
Can I use this routine while pregnant?
The actives in this routine — vitamin C, niacinamide and 2% tranexamic acid — are all considered safe for use during pregnancy. We still recommend checking with your doctor first, particularly if you are under medical care.
