A six-step routine for the Korean glass-skin finish — skin smooth and even enough to catch light. It clears the pores that create texture, evens the tone that reads as dullness, and seals everything under a dry oil serum that leaves a lit-from-within finish rather than a greasy one.

  • Glass skin is texture before it is glowSkin reflects light evenly when the surface is even. 0.5% salicylic acid with zinc clears pores from the inside, which is the part no highlighter substitutes for.
  • 15% vitamin C across two steps10% liposomal in the serum for treatment strength, plus 5% combined SAP and ascorbyl glucoside in the face cream — the gentler forms, so the brightening carries on through the day.
  • Four actives on tone, not oneSuper C 4X Serum is 10% liposomal vitamin C, 2% tranexamic acid, ferulic acid and vitamin E. Vitamin C brightens overall; tranexamic acid is the one that works on the marks blemishes leave behind.
  • 5% niacinamide for pores and shineMarineBio's 5% niacinamide refines how pores look and keeps oil in check through the day, so skin reads as lit rather than greasy.
  • The sealing step most routines skipRosehip dry oil as the last step at night. It absorbs rather than sitting on the surface, and it is what turns hydrated skin into a glass finish.
  • SPF 50 PA++++, or the rest undoes itselfPA++++ is the highest UVA rating. UVA drives both pigmentation and the marks blemishes leave — brightening without daily protection is work you repeat every afternoon.

How to use it
Morning: BHA Cleanser → Super C 4X Serum → MarineBio Serum → B5 Sunscreen
Evening: BHA Cleanser → MarineBio Serum → Super C Cream → Midnight Soldier Oil
What is glass skin, really?
It is a finish rather than a skin type — smooth texture, even tone, and enough hydration that skin reflects light instead of scattering it. It comes from clear pores and consistency, not from any single product.
Six steps is a lot. Do I need all of them?
It is four in the morning and four at night.
Morning: BHA Cleanser → Super C 4X Serum → MarineBio Serum → B5 Sunscreen
Evening: BHA Cleanser → MarineBio Serum → Super C Cream → Midnight Soldier Oil
How long before I see it?
The finish from the oil is immediate. Texture shifts in three to four weeks and tone in six to eight. Glass skin is a consistency result more than a product result.
Will the facial oil break me out?
Rosehip is a dry oil — it absorbs rather than sitting on the surface. If you congest easily, use it on the drier areas only and leave the T-zone.
Can I use vitamin C and salicylic acid together?
Yes, at different steps. Cleanse with the BHA, then apply the vitamin C to clean skin. If both are new to you, start the serum every other morning.
Can I use this routine while pregnant?
The actives in this routine — 0.5% salicylic acid, 15% vitamin C, 5% niacinamide and 2% tranexamic acid — are all considered safe for use during pregnancy. We still recommend checking with your doctor first, particularly if you are under medical care.
